Oily Skin - Tips for Caring of Oily Skin Type

Oily skin is shiny, thick and dull colored. Oily skin has coarse pores and pimples and other embarrassing blemishes. It is prone to blackheads. In this type of skin, the oil producing sebaceous glands are overactive and produce more oil than is needed. The oil oozes and gives the skin a greasy shine. The pores are enlarged and the skin has a coarse look.

Oily skin contains a lot of sebum which helps prevent the skin from drying out. However, oily skin tends to attract more dirt and dust than dry skin. It benefits from soap and water, so washing with a cleansing bar is an ideal way of caring for it.

How to Care for Oily Skin:-

It includes the following steps as:-

  • The experts suggest cleansing your face two or three times daily with good old soap and water.
  • Try a mild cleanser that cleanses without drying.
  • Use water-based, non-comedogenic cosmetics.
  • Do not use any oil-based cosmetics, which will only aggravate oily skin and create further blemishes.
  • Follow the recommendations of dermatologists and shower or bathe in tepid rather than steaming-hot water.
  • Avoid using cleansers that tend to over dry skin. This paradoxically causes your skin to produce even more oil than usual.
  • Always remove your makeup before going to bed, but avoid cold creams and lotions, which may leave a greasy film on your skin.

Tips for Oily Skin:-

It includes the following important tips for oily skin:-

  • Avoid oily, cheesy foods

  • Wash your face with cold water as many times as you can in a day

  • Before applying make-up first apply astringer lotion and wait for 5 min then do make-up as you like.

  • Oil-based sunscreen should be avoided.

  • Although moisturizing is not advisable on a daily basis. Oil-free moisturizers can be applied if your skin is rough after washing.

  • Cucumbers juice, lime juice take in equal quantity and apply to your body and take shower with lukewarm or cold water after 15 min. Do this for one month and you see the amazing results.

  • In a glass bowl pour water half way and add 5 - 6 drops of   ude-co-lean and refrigerate. After 1 hr remove from freeze and apply with cotton whenever you feel like your skin is oily.

Treating Oily Skin

The essential method of cleansing this type of skin is to wash with a solution of a very mild synthetic detergent containing no oils, waxes or any other lipid agent that could aggravate the oily condition of the skin, sometimes combined with a toning lotion.

If you have oily skin and you'd like to do something about this condition, here are some good tips for you:

  • Cleanse only two or three times at the very most with a product made for your skin type.
  • Washing more often will only strip the skin of oil which simply stimulates the oil glands to replace it.

The successful treatment of oily skin requires patience, since excessive oil production is a symptom of an internal problem. Therefore, a holistic approach is necessary. Results may be slow, and in extreme cases the client should be referred to a health professional.
